In my spare time I record a monthly magazine for the Merton Talking Newspaper  which was set-up by my Father Eric Walford M.B.E.

I believe the secret to being a good writer is twofold; firstly a good education and mine was a particularly good all girls Grammar School in London, and secondly, a varied experience of life, and I certainly have that too…

My first job was as a catwalk Model for Charmont Fashion House in Eastcastle Street London W1, before leaving the UK to become a Professional Drummer with an all-girl Rock Band, and travelled the length and breadth of Europe for some years.

I have worked for a large National Charity as their Head of Marketing for 8 years, various non-for-profit’s, and the statutory sector Managing Partnership Boards for Safeguarding Children, Looked After Children, Teenage Pregnancy, and Autism. I have a PG Dip and PG Cert in Management and in Health and Social Care.

As an accredited Expert Trainer for Edward De Bono Thinking Skills – trained by Edward De Bono himself!, I bring a wealth of knowledge about how to engage with your particular target market to each new writing assignment. I have written 2 books on teaching children at Key Stage 3 and 4 using De Bono Theories, and these were published by Atkey Solutions, and are sold as teaching resources.
